It’s official!

Our nomination papers have gone in today, it is now official, we are the candidates for the Ystrad ward in May’s local government elections. We are excited at the prospect of being elected, and really working to make a difference in the communities of Ystrad and Gelli.

We will begin delivering our manifesto to local people this weekend. We hope that you will read it and consider us worthy of your vote.

If you could spare some time and would like to help us deliver it, we would be delighted and very grateful for your help, just let us know.

We attended the RCT Plaid Cymru manifesto launch on Friday 30 March, in Clwb Y Bont, in Pontypridd.

It was a very positive, upbeat affair. We have all worked hard as a team to produce the manifesto, and we believe it offers a positive message of hope through difficult times for the residents of Rhondda Cynon Taff. If you would like to read it, please click on the links below to download the PDF, available in welsh and english.

We were joined at the launch by our new leader, Rhondda born Leanne Wood. Leanne will make an excellent leader for our party, and a very encouraging role model for us all who care about the future of Wales, and RCT.
